Even though the supplies are extremely affordable, it's still possible to make Dollar Tree decor look expensive.
Pools are a welcome reprieve from sweltering summers and a great gathering place to make memories. But maintaining a pool can be expensive, which is why it's smart to implement helpful tips to keep your backyard pool ideas on budget. Dollar Tree is a treasure trove for inexpensive items, and DIYing pool furniture is one way to cut costs. Plus, you can turn the process into a fun craft night with your best friends or family members.
How to make a glowing poolside table with Dollar Tree supplies
For this craft, you'll need six neon scalloped plastic bowls, a large plastic plate, a battery-operated puck light, and a hot glue gun, all of which you can secure from Dollar Tree. Start by placing one bowl face down, and then use your hot glue gun to attach the second bowl to it. When gluing, make sure that you match the direction of the bowls — glue bottoms to bottoms and tops to tops. When you've finished gluing all bowls together, you'll end up with one bowl facing down at the bottom and one bowl facing up at the top. Add a bead of glue around the rim of the top bowl and press it onto the plate to attach it. The plate will serve as your tabletop. Place a battery-operated puck light under the bottom bowl, and turn it on at night. The result is a glowing table, perfect for poolside fun.

This poolside table works best for holding lightweight items, like your drinks or even a book. You can customize it, using any type of bowl, as long as it's clear or translucent so that it can be illuminated by the puck light. For a fun, whimsical touch, consider draping battery-operated fairy lights around it. And, if you're enjoying craft night, don't let the fun stop there. Try this affordable table you can DIY from a Dollar Tree glass cup and a garden bowl.
