Costco's May 2026 Deal: The Appliance You Should Buy This Month

Cooking is an important part of life. Most people eat three meals — or at least the equivalent — a day, meaning you can spend a fair amount of your waking hours in the kitchen. Finding the right cookware for your space can help you save time and make your cooking easier. Induction stoves are worth it, but expensive, and buying a whole new cooktop, or even fitting a full stove in a small apartment, isn't always possible. Thankfully, Costco is offering a sale this May 2026 on an Induction Plate and Perfect Pot by Our Place. Normally, it goes for $150. However, for a limited time, the product is on sale for just $120. 

You have the option of three colors for the pot and hot plate to choose from: beige, dark gray, and blue. The pot itself is a 5.5-quart nonstick. The appliance comes with features such as turning off after two hours automatically, fans to help it cool down faster and reduce the chances of accidental fires, and several quick settings, including boiling, steaming, and pan frying.

One five-star reviewer on Costco's website said that it was "One of the best purchases, great price. Use this more than I thought. This highly rated by Consumers truly cooks evenly. The induction plate is extremely handy. Plug-in and cook outdoors. Take on car trips — plug in anywhere. Much more safe than regular hot plate." Some reviews do mention that the settings are a little finicky, which is worth noting.

At the time of writing, the induction plate has an average rating of 4.5, but there are only four reviews. Thankfully, though this exact combo isn't found anywhere else, Our Place does sell the Perfect Pot on its website. There, the pot has a 4.7 with over 10,000 reviews. Additionally, Our Place sold an 8-piece set of top-rated pots and pans to buy from Costco for under $200, so it seems the company is reliable and known for making good products. 

As for whether this combo is for you, you have to decide if you will use it. Having a small hot plate for cooking is useful when you are bringing warm foods to a party or someone else's house, or if you own a small kitchen. However, if you don't have cast iron or the right kind of stainless steel cookware for the rest of your kitchen equipment, this appliance will only work with the included pot, which may not make it worth it. 

Don't take too long to decide, though. The deal won't be around forever. According to Costco, the $120 price will vanish after May 10. It's only available online as well, so don't bother driving to your local store to catch the deal.
