How to turn an old bundt pan into a hanging wreath
There are many ways to repurpose a bundt pan around your home, but few projects are as fun and easy as this decorative wreath DIY. If you're working with a used bundt pan, give it a good wash before starting the craft to remove any residual food or grease. Once it's washed and dried, you can take it outside or to a well ventilated room to spray paint it. The face of the wreath is going to be the back or bottom of the bundt pan, not the inside of the pan. So make sure you're painting the correct side. Allow the paint to dry completely.
You can add designs to the bundt pan, like polka dots by dabbing paint on with round sponge brushes or stripes by brushing paint on with a pinstriping brush. Or you can skip this step and leave the bundt pan a solid color. Once the painting is complete, you have the base of your wreath. To hang it, cut a strip of ribbon to your desired length and slide it through the center hole of the bundt pan. Tie it at the top to create a loop that can be hung on a hook or nail in the wall.
Options to embellish the wreath include gluing faux flowers around the ribbon at the top of the pan or adding a bow at the top of the ribbon where it hangs on the wall. Of course, your imagination and creativity are the only limit here. Hang the wreath with the flat inside of the pan facing the wall, so your newly decorated side faces out.
