Are Weed Pullers ACTUALLY Worth It?

There's nothing quite as frustrating as seeing weeds poke through a carefully maintained lawn. Pulling them by hand can be tedious and backbreaking, but chemical herbicides often use nasty ingredients like glyphosate that homeowners should avoid. That's why weed pullers are so attractive. They promise an easy and reliable way to remove weeds manually without spending hours bent over in the yard. With a long prong and some teeth at the end, they are designed to go into the ground, grab onto the weed and its roots, and pull them out crisply. Sounds incredibly satisfying, but do they really work?

To find out, we partnered with Extreme Reviews to test two promising weed pullers from Amazon. The first is a battery-powered Seesii Electric Weed Puller that sells for $129.99. The second is a mechanical WilFiks Weed Puller that retails for $24.99. To try them out, Extreme Reviews tested both models on weeds like crabgrass, dandelions, and some mystery tall plants growing in a backyard. They assessed how easy both tools are to use, whether they do a good job removing the weeds' root system, and how fun they are to work with (hey, making chores fun is important). And it wouldn't be an "extreme" review without some out-of-the-ordinary testing, like picking up trash, unraveling yarn, grilling hot dogs, and painting. So, which weed puller came out on top, and are either of them really worth your money? Watch to find out.
