Our Picks For The Best New Lowe's Home Products Of 2026 (So Far)
As a professional gardener, I'm always on the lookout for good products at reasonable prices, from plants and soil amendments to pavers and bird baths. I've also done a lot of home improvement projects (having owned and rehabbed two fixer-uppers), and Lowe's was my go-to for so many things, from painting supplies to bathroom furnishings. While Lowe's is a popular stop for spring supplies, summer is when home projects are typically geared towards the outdoors and entertaining. I went to Lowe's recently and talked with the head of merchandising about new products and best sellers as summer 2026 is in full swing.
One trend that is visually obvious when you walk into the store is color: standard products in new colors and new products in an array of hues. Color is a powerful marketing tool, and retailers rely on creative visuals to entice customers. I was instantly drawn to some colors I hadn't seen much of in Lowe's previously, including pink, teal, and lavender. Many of the colorful items were low-priced, too, making them fun impulse buys that are also useful. I also saw great color selections for all kinds of furnishings and furniture. Perhaps beige will finally step aside?
Other trends included more products to make chores easier, like yardwork, cleaning, and all-in-one tool sets. I also noted many new products for enjoying outdoor spaces, including garden decor, patio furniture, grills, bars, and useful entertaining accessories. Lowe's offers delivery for many items on its website, and also in-store pickup, but it's best to check for availability. The store also offers installation and assembly services at your home.
Kobalt mini toolbox
These stackable mini toolboxes by Kobalt come in a variety of colors (including lavender, which the store I was in didn't have on display) and are a great size (about 11 inches long by 6 inches tall and deep) for keeping a few basic tools handy. At about $22 apiece, they are affordable and practical. There are also versions with carrying handles — same size, same color assortment — for the same price.
Tiki citronella garden torch
At just about $20 apiece, these steel bronze-finish tiki torches are a durable and stylish option for outdoor pest control and illumination. Made to be used with citronella oil, the torches can be filled once to last all evening. The citronella keeps mosquitoes away after the sun sets, as well as on warm but not hot summer days when these pests are out in full force.
Kobalt mini tools
In keeping with its new color introductions and mini-sized options, Kobalt is also offering a number of mini tools like mini diagonal cutting pliers, mini long nose pliers, and a 10-in-1 screwdriver set. These mini tools seem to only come in pale pink, but larger versions come in other colors including blue and red. It may be that these pink tools are marketed for women to use, and smaller-sized tools may be more practical for some women, but whatever the reasons, these are handy tools at a great price ($6.98).
Pink gallon bucket and lid
Speaking of pink, here's another new item on offer: a pink 5-gallon paint bucket. Buckets are $4.98, while lids are sold separately for $2.48. Though sold as paint buckets, these are indispensable for many house and garden chores. I use these buckets for gardening constantly, to move plants or tools or to carry a small amount of mulch or soil. When I had an injured left wrist, buckets allowed me to carry garden supplies with my stronger right hand.
Dominator mulch glue
The head of merchandising at the store I visited said this new product is flying off the shelves. Mulch adhesives are a recent trend in the home and garden market. Dominator Mulch Anchor is sprayed on to keep mulch in place, protecting it from disruptions from weather, animals, foot traffic, and erosion. It works on rubber or wood mulches and pea gravel. Now, as a professional gardener, I prefer natural mulch, but for landscaping professionals, this is a real potential time-saver. It's especially useful for high-profile properties to avoid time-consuming cleanup. It's also pet-friendly.
Home Armor cleaning system
The store merchandiser also pointed this product out to me, saying the new Home Armor cleaning system and gallon jugs of outdoor cleaner concentrate sell very well. The cleaning system is a power washer wand that hooks onto your garden hose. For basic cleaning of houses and driveways, this $24.98 system is much more affordable than many standard pressure washers, which often cost hundreds of dollars. It's effective for mold, mildew, and algae and on multiple surfaces, including wood, brick, or vinyl siding. The label has instructions for using this product safely (protective gloves and goggles are suggested).
Weber Spirit E-210 propane grill
Weber charcoal grills are always my first choice: I love my portable Smokey Joe (spring green!) and use it all summer. But Weber also makes good-quality propane grills. One of its new designs for 2026, the Spirit E-210 grill, is on sale in July for $399 (it's normally $450). It has two burners with snap-jet ignition, so you can light one at a time, and two handy metal side tables. The porcelain-enameled cast-iron grates and pull-out drip pan make for easy cleaning. The Spirit has a curvy, streamlined look in black and chrome with red accents.
Blackstone griddle toolkit
Blackstone makes high-quality grills and griddles, and also has a great line of useful accessories. Outdoor griddles have become more popular for cooking breakfast and brunch, but can be used to make a variety of foods. This 8-piece griddle toolkit includes a handy carrying bag, a utility apron, two spatulas, an angled scraper, a set of tongs, and two squeeze bottles. For $65, it makes a great gift for your favorite aspiring or expert griddle chef.
Homy Casa freestanding bathroom vanity
When I was doing some fixer-uppering back in the day, I was impressed with the selection of high-quality bathroom vanities at Lowe's at reasonable prices. There are several new vanity designs for 2026 that are stylish (many in multiple colors) with great storage features, in both free-standing and mounted models. Lowe's also does home installation. I love this simple dark green, solid wood, 36-inch vanity by Homy Casa with plenty of cabinet storage. There are plenty of other great deals on vanities happening now, too.
Teal mini buckets
Okay, sorry, but I can't get enough of these colorful buckets. These teal mini buckets come with lids and are less than $2 each. How useful are these things? Washable and reusable, stackable, and with a handle for carrying. I can imagine plenty of uses for my gardening work and tasks around the house, including transporting small amounts of fertilizer or soil amendments when I don't want to lug the whole bag around.
Kobalt 20-in-1 cordless LED screwdriver
I had no idea you could get a 20-in-1 cordless screwdriver, but imagine how many jobs you could do with this versatile tool! For only 20 bucks, this new pale pink model from Kobalt (which has introduced a whole line of pale pink tools for 2026) is a full-size cordless, battery-powered screwdriver that comes with all the attachments. It's also available in blue.
Gel knee pads
Using a foam mat for garden work (like weeding and planting) to cushion your knees is all well and good, but you have to keep moving the pad around. These gel knee pads by Klein Tools stay put so you can move around freely without having to bring a mat with you. Kneeling saves strain on the back compared to bending over or squatting, and it can feel more stable. You can wear these indoors also, for tasks like scrubbing or painting baseboards or refinishing floors.
Multi-colored gardening gloves
The Lowe's merchandise supervisor I talked with was excited to show me all these garden gloves when I asked if there were any new styles for 2026. She said there were more new colors than she recalled seeing in previous years. I do use cheap cotton or vinyl gloves often, but I also like to have good quality, durable "medium duty" gloves on hand for garden work. These gloves come in a wide range of materials, some with leather for better grip and safety (leather is good for working with roses and other thorny plants).
Winado Iron Arbor
This sturdy, beautiful iron arbor from Winado is plenty wide at 4.33 feet, so you can plant more than one climbing plant at either end. It's about 7 feet high and reasonably priced at $104. Arbors really help define the garden space and are a must for climbing plants. I like metal arbors because they're fairly lightweight and easier to move around than wooden ones. This delicate filigree look is fantastic with climbing roses (like the easy care climbing rose variety that is my favorite, Zephirine Drouhin), or for supporting clematis vines.
Acacia wood serving table
This gorgeous serving cart and table from Backyard Discovery is classy and well-made, with the naturally durable qualities of acacia wood. Acacia wood resists pests and decay, similar to cedar and teak, so it's very suitable for outdoor furniture (though it should be brought inside or covered in winter). For patio, backyard, or three-season porch use, this table on wheels offers handy storage and a sturdy surface for serving summer meals. At $300, it's a substantial furniture purchase, but one that will last many years.
