Camilla Cabello Sold Her L.A. Home For $4.3 Million

Grammy nominated singer-songwriter Camila Cabello, 24, won big in the world of real estate at the end of 2021 with the $4.3 million sale of her Hollywood Hills, California home, per the Los Angeles Times. The house was listed in November for $3.95 million and sold for $350,000 over list price in just nine days, according to her real estate agent, Denise Rosner, who said on Facebook that there were four offers in six days. Rosner originally sold the home to Cabello in 2019 for $3.375 million.

The 3,579-square-foot house is a romantic, Mediterranean-style villa with an ornate metal gate opening into a large courtyard leading to the front entry. The charm continues with two Juliet balconies overlooking the saltwater pool. Tall plaster walls and landscaping provide complete privacy around the property. The residence also features both stone tile floors and dark hardwoods, elaborate wrought-iron chandeliers and light fixtures, and several fireplaces including one outside near the al fresco dining area. Contemporary features like retractable wood-framed glass doors create a true indoor-outdoor living space. The home has four bedrooms and four bathrooms and was built in 1977. The pop star converted one of the bedrooms into a recording studio.

Why did Camila Cabello sell her home?

Camila Cabello and her boyfriend of two years, Shawn Mendez, ended their relationship in November just before she listed her home for sale. Her 3rd album, "Familia," is scheduled for release this year by Epic Records. According to Cabello's personal Instagram account, a new song, "Bam Bam" with Ed Sheeran should be released in a few days.

It's hard to believe Cabello was only 14 years old when she first came to the music world's attention as part of Fifth Harmony on 2012's "The X-Factor," according to ET Canada. Although the group finished third, they were later signed to Simon Cowell's label Syco Records and Epic Records. Cabello's solo career took off in 2017 when she recorded her first album, "Camila," which was released in 2018. The song "Havana" became an international success and has earned the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) Diamond Award for sales of over 10 million units. The original album name was scrapped and changed to "CamilaI," which according to Cabello's Instagram account reflects her finding her way back to herself.
