Experience
Andrea started working as a reporter for the Columbus Messenger Newspapers, in Columbus, Ohio, after graduating college in 2002. She spent a few years in broadcasting, working as a news producer for the CBS affiliate in Dayton, Ohio. She returned to the Columbus Messenger as a news editor and held that position for nearly 20 years until the paper's closure in the spring of 2025.

She graduated with a bachelor's degree in communication arts from Ohio Dominican University in Columbus, Ohio.
