Caitlin began writing about the energy and home services industries in 2019, where she specialized in helping people find the best residential electricity plan based on their needs. Her work's focus started in the niche Texas deregulated energy market and expanded to include residential solar panels, EV chargers, energy-efficient upgrades, and more. Caitlin's writing has contributed to CNET, SaveOnEnergy, and The Fort Worth Star-Telegram. As a mom to a young child, Caitlin understands the need for home organization, child-safe spaces, and saving on monthly utility bills. Outside of writing, Caitlin enjoys a page-turning thriller, outings to the park, and, if possible, a long nap.

Caitlin earned her bachelor's degree in English at the University of Georgia. She went on to receive her master's degree in English with a concentration in linguistics from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
