- Ever since she and her husband purchased their very first home together, Dami and her husband have enjoyed working together to curate spaces to maximize functionality without compromising aesthetics.
- Dami loves mid-century modern design, and is a fan of the classic MCM brands like Herman Miller and Knoll. Lately, though, the modern farmhouse style has been growing on her.
- Dami loves sharing tips and tricks on creating inviting spaces that are both stylish and meaningful. She finds joy in filling her home with decor objets that double as memorabilia from her and her husband's travels — which add a personal touch and serve as conversation starters.
Experience
Dami is a passionate writer who began her professional career in 2023 at The Korea Times. Her most notable piece was an article on unrealistic K-beauty standards. In late 2024, she joined Static Media as a news writer for The List and now writes for Women and House Digest. It's the perfect combination for her, as when she's not diving into societal issues or skincare trends, she loves finding ways to add more meaning to a space through thoughtful décor and design. Whenever she travels, she loves exploring how different cultures design their everyday spaces.
Education
Dami has a bachelor's degree in international studies from Texas A&M University.
