Erica Brooke Gordon

Erica Brooke has nearly 20 years of experience as a professional writer, journalist, and editor, having developed industry expertise in lifestyle topics that include home décor, home organization, and real estate. Also an educator, she teaches reading courses at Bucks County Community College in Bucks County, PA, and previously served as an adjunct professor at Temple University's Fox School of Business and Manor College, where she taught writing courses. She has much experience with other Static Media brands; she is a feature editor for The List, where she also used to write features and conduct exclusive interviews. She is also a former feature and news editor for Glam and has written features and conducted interviews for Health Digest. When she's not working for Static Media, she's teaching, working on her book and blog, and reading inspiring memoirs, though, as a new mom, these days, most of her time away from work is spent caring for her daughter, Harper Reese Journi, born in August 2023.

Erica Brooke honed her writing and editing skills while studying communications and journalism at Arcadia University in Glenside, PA, from which she holds a Bachelor of Arts in communications/print media and a minor in marketing. Additionally, she obtained a Master of Education in secondary education/English from Temple University in Philadelphia, a degree which has served her well when training and providing feedback to writers.
