Experience
Erin is a freelance journalist and author with over eight years of experience in print and digital media. After studying wildlife biology at the University of Montana for several years while writing fiction on the side, she decided to shift focus and major in journalism. During an intensive week researching in Big Sur, she realized that being a research scientist wouldn't give her enough time to focus on her writing, which was her true passion. She began her writing career as the features editor of her university newspaper, The Easterner. After graduation, Erin began writing for local newspapers, including The Wenatchee World and The Quincy Valley Post-Register, where she covered community news, human-interest stories, and lifestyle features. She also writes for regional lifestyle magazines, including Foothills Magazine, and national digital publications—Blessed is She, Aleteia, and Epic Pew—contributing on numerous topics, including fashion, faith, science, and homemaking. Erin is the author of the YA fantasy novel "Caladrius Dreams" and is currently working on book two of the series. She enjoys using her writing to share the tips and strategies she has learned firsthand during her eight years of being a stay-at-home mom with other parents, helping them create order and beauty amidst the chaos of home life.
