Experience

Jaime has had the writing bug since childhood, when she used to write notes and stories for her friends on an old typewriter and string homemade books together with yarn. Her freelance career officially began when she submitted an essay to the Boston Globe Sunday Magazine's "Coupling" section. Since then, she's written for Mom.com, Pregnancy & Newborn, Rite Aid, and BlissMark on lifestyle, home, parenting, and wellness topics. Jaime is also the creator of the Instagram account @mommy.hooding (100k followers), which celebrates modern motherhood with humor and truth. Jaime wrote her first meme seven years ago in the school pickup line, and since then, her observations have resonated with thousands of moms from all over the world and have been re-shared by Scary Mommy, "Modern Mom Probs," and actress Kristen Bell.

Education

Jaime has her BFA in writing, literature and publishing from Emerson College and an M.Ed. in education from the University of Massachusetts Boston.
