His credits include work at Game Rant, writing about the video game industry and scheduling interviews with independent developers as Lead Features Editor; Truly Hermosa, a biannual magazine and directory for the Hermosa Beach Chamber of Commerce; and Fur & Feather Animal Sanctuary, contributing web design expertise and crowdfunding campaigns for a no-kill shelter. His work has been recognized by the California College Media Association and Society of Professional Journalists, an organization he has maintained membership for since 2018. He has also been a featured host at gaming-related charity events livestreamed to raise money for dementia research.

Jason has a bachelor's in communications, with a journalism emphasis, from California State University, Fullerton. He graduated summa cum laude, with distinction through the University Honors Program.
