Megan is an experienced researcher and writer with a passion for using both facts and storytelling to share the wonders of the outdoors. An avid traveler, she spends her time exploring much of the American Southeast in pursuit of different experiences, from offshore fishing to visiting zoological parks. In her spare time, she enjoys DIYing her home and gardening, and she plans to build a homestead with her husband and their pets in the future.

Megan has a Bachelor of Arts in English from Wingate University, as well as minors in biology and professional and technical writing.
