  • Nader Sammouri is an Osaka-based architect and journalist who has been writing about design since 2013.
  • He has interviewed some of the world's top architects and designers, such as Shigeru Ban, Kengo Kuma, Bernard Khoury, and Sou Fujimoto, among many others.


Nader has written internationally for prominent magazines such as the Netherlands-based Frame magazine, Tokyo-based Aoyama Design Forum, KSA-based Arab News Japan, and numerous other well-known magazines in Hong Kong, Emirates, and Canada. He was also an honored writer at the Sixth Annual Kyoto Writing Competition. He authored "Things I wish I knew 10 years ago."


Nader has a master's degree in architecture from the Lebanese University in Beirut and a master's degree in business administration from Doshisha University in Kyoto, Japan.
