To start this project, use a glue gun to place a small ball of glue in the middle of one of the cardboard circles. You're going to create this shape using your twine, so be sure to grab a long piece. Next, while holding it, wind it around itself until it completely covers the face of the cardboard. After you've covered the face, cover the edges of the cardboard with a thin layer of glue and then wrap the twine around it as well. Then, place a small ball of glue on one of your wooden rings. Grab a long piece of twine and place it vertically on the ring, wrapping it around until you cover it completely. Do this for two wooden rings. Follow this up by gluing your beads to the top of one ring, and then glue the other ring on top of this layer of beads. Afterward, glue this piece to the top of your twine-covered cardboard.

The cool thing about this hack is that there are just so many ways to customize it and make it your own. For example, if you prefer less rustic vibes and more of an industrial or loft-like feel, try nixing the paper twine and beads. Instead, opt for cool bottle lids and leather cord for a classic-meets-modern look. Maybe ratchet things up by using small plumbing fittings and hex nuts to form the sides of your containers. 

For this design, you'll need to have a different base to support the metal. Cut solid wood sheets or recycled tin can lids can make for an exceptional base for these containers and will give you the stability that you need to support the other materials. But it's always best to use moisture-friendly materials in the bathroom.
