One hugely overlooked benefit Ryobi offers is its account and tool registration system; it offers some truly helpful perks.

Not every company's product registration is worth all the fuss it requires, which is probably why most of us just toss that little paper in the trash to begin with. Ryobi, however, does legitimately offer terrific perks that are great to have, whether you own one product from the company or an entire slew. You will need to spend a few moments setting up a personal account on the Ryobi app or website. But once you do, you gain access to faster product servicing, a tracked listing of your Ryobi purchases (nice to have for your records), and even exciting bonuses like entries into regular sweepstakes.

Any free perks and benefits are always nice to have, but if you own a ton of Ryobi tools or regularly need to get them serviced, registering with the company can really smooth the process out. For one, it is nice to see a dedicated record of all your Ryobi tools. Such a list can be fun to look at, sure, but this record also makes it easy for you to get new information as needed from Ryobi's support team. Fortunately, registering your Ryobi tools is a super quick process, and you'll be back to knocking out weekend DIY renovation projects in no time. First, you will need to create your personal account via either the Ryobi registration webpage or the Ryobi app (available on both Android and iOS). Enter your name, email, and country of residence.

Once you are officially signed in, you can access the Ryobi registration page. You can only register one tool at a time, and you will need to have the model numbers handy. Once you find the correct model number from the drop-down list, click "Register Now" to add it to your digital toolbox. That is all you need to do to officially link the tool with your account.

To gain the full benefits, however, you will need to share your receipt information. Simply click "Complete Your Registration," then click "Upload a New Receipt." From there, enter in the date of purchase listed on the receipt along with the receipt number, then upload a photo of your receipt. If you do not have your receipt, simply click "No Receipt," and then enter an approximate purchase date. Next, enter the serial number for your tool. We recommend double-checking all of your information before hitting save. Once you do, you are all done! You can view your information, initiate a warranty claim, and view tips and other help items whenever you want.
