15 Budget-Friendly Aldi Christmas Finds That Look More Expensive Than They Are

October is nearly over, which means the winter holidays will be here before you know it. If you celebrate Christmas, now is a great time to get ahead of decorating the inside of your home. We're close enough to December that you'll be able to get into the holiday spirit, but there's still plenty of time to set a budget and curate items you love that don't break the bank.

Though it might not be the first store you think of, Aldi is an excellent place to shop when decorating your space for Christmas on a budget. This affordable grocery retailer has an online store and brick-and-mortar locations in 38 U.S. states. Per Aldi's most recent upcoming products list, dozens of new Christmas-y interior decor items hit store shelves during the week of October 22. Many of them look way more expensive than you'd expect — given their relatively low cost — think Pottery Barn or Williams Sonoma, not Aldi.

This buzzy new drop includes Christmas ornaments and decorations, kitchen items, throw pillows and blankets, candles, and more. Best of all, virtually all of these festive finds cost less than $15. Many of them even retail for under $6. Below, find a list of 15 of our favorite budget-friendly Christmas items for your home from Aldi's latest release.

Holiday glass tumbler

Pretty and practical, each version of this Crofton holiday glass cup is covered in images that evoke Christmas. Its sleek shape looks super polished — if we didn't know better, we'd guess that you snagged this cup for three or four times its price from Anthropologie's home section. Meanwhile, it's actually priced at $4, which is cheaper than the peppermint mocha cold brew concentrate you might purchase to drink from it.

Snowflake coffee mug

Are you pivoting from iced to hot beverages now that the temperatures are cooling down? Aldi's Merry Moments snowflake holiday mug is one option you might consider. It costs about $4 but looks just as sharp as mugs you might pick up from Pottery Barn or West Elm. Since it's priced so affordably, you could even buy three or four mugs and make a DIY display to show them off.

Tabletop Christmas tree

Apartment dwellers who still want to get into the holiday spirit will know the plight of trying to squeeze a full-size Christmas tree into a small space. That's where miniature tabletop Christmas trees come in. Aldi's Merry Moments LED tabletop tree ($10) comes in three different colors, but the white flocking looks especially chic and high-quality, like something you might find at Pottery Barn or Anthropologie.

Holiday cookie jar

Nothing says "Christmas" quite like a good cookie jar. This festive, tree-shaped Crofton holiday cookie jar from Aldi ($13) is giving Williams Sonoma a run for its money at a much lower price point. At roughly 8 inches wide and 12 inches high, it's big enough to store a decent amount of cookies or baked goods, yet small enough that you won't have to worry about it crowding your kitchen counter.

Christmas throw blanket

Covered in cute bows and pastel sparkles, Aldi's Merry Moments bow Christmas throw blanket looks cozy and seasonally-appropriate without being too on the nose. At about $5, it won't break the bank, but it would make a luxe addition to a couch or armchair in the same room as your Christmas tree. Jewel tones were a Christmas decor trend taking over the 2024 season. Who's to say they won't make a comeback for 2025?

Bow garland

In the same vein, this Merry Moments bow holiday garland subtly nods to Christmas. This product comes in a few colors, including gold, pink, and red. It's a refined, understated way to bring festive vibes into your space. Dimensions for this garland aren't available online yet, so you may have to bring a measuring tape to the store, but at such a low price point ($5), it could be worth the extra hassle.

Cooper wire string lights

You can never have too many string lights for your space, especially once Christmas rolls around. At just $3 per pack, Aldi's Merry Moments Christmas LED String Lights are a total steal. We're partial to the copper wire and warm light version, which would make any room in your home (or Christmas tree, of course) look warmer, cozier, and more inviting. It would also make the perfect clutter-free way to dress up your mantle.

Pine-scented Christmas tree candle

This chic, Kirkton House nostalgic tree candle won't just make your home look Christmas-y. Its earthy pine and eucalyptus scent will make it smell like Christmas, too. Light it on your countertop or dining room table. It's also worth noting that if pine isn't your favorite scent, or you're already stocked up on pine candles, Aldi sells two other scents: a pink one that smells like raspberries, orange, and cherries, and a white candle in the scent "twisted peppermint."

Candy cane bouclé throw pillow

Kitschy and cozy, this Merry Moments candy Christmas pillow has a bouclé-like texture that screams Pottery Barn for a fraction of the price. It would make a great addition to a kid's room. Are you planning on hosting any relatives or family friends for Christmas? Then this pillow would also work perfectly on the bed or armchair in your guest bedroom.

Gingerbread house measuring cups

Measuring spoons are always a handy tool to have in your kitchen, especially if you like to bake. (Christmas cookies for Santa, anyone?) Aldi's adorable Crofton ceramic gingerbread measuring spoons include four sizes (¼ teaspoon, ½ teaspoon, 1 teaspoon, and 1 tablespoon). These, with handles shaped like gingerbread houses, can be found in brown and lavender-purple. Aldi also offers Crofton ceramic trees measuring spoons depicting Christmas trees in green and pink.

Gold cookie sheet set

Whether you're a big baker or an apartment dweller who's a fan of sheet pan dinners, you can't go wrong with more sheet pans. Aldi's Crofton 3-piece cookie sheet set is technically marketed for baking cookies, but you can use them in other ways, too. Their gold finish evokes Christmas in an understated way that looks much more polished than their $13 price tag.

Bottlebrush decorative Christmas tree set

Adorned with silver and gold baubles, this Merry Moments green bottlebrush tree set comes in different colors and sizes that would look equally gorgeous atop a mantle, coffee table, or console table. Priced at just $6, you may even decide to purchase multiple sets: one to pepper throughout your space, and another one to give to a friend or loved one.

Decorative clip-on bows

If you're a fan of bows, then Aldi's Merry Moments velvet clip-on bow ornaments will be right up your alley. Their velvet texture and jewel-toned hues look luxe, subtly nodding to the holidays, but the shape, which evokes gifts under the tree, is quintessentially Christmas. Since they're clip-on decorations, these bows can be styled just about anywhere in your home, from your staircase to your Christmas tree.

Christmas tree dish towels

Swapping out your dish towels for the holidays is a subtle way to decorate seasonally that's also functional. Aldi's Merry Moments 2-pack Christmas kitchen towels — one emerald green and the other white with red, pink, and teal Christmas trees — is a solid contender. They're festive but not overly cutesy, which is impressive considering they're made of 100 percent cotton and retail for just $6.

Ceramic sugar pot with a spoon

If you're a big tea or coffee drinker, then a sugar pot may be a great addition to your repertoire of kitchen items. Aldi's Crofton ceramic sugar pot is shaped like a green Christmas tree. It looks way pricier than its actual cost of $6. Display this Williams Sonoma-esque piece on your kitchen counter or DIY coffee bar.
