If you're trying to make the most of lower kitchen cabinet space, that jumbled corner cabinet is a prime place to start. Wide, deep corner cabinets are notoriously hard to access and keep organized. IKEA's UTRUSTA carousel-style trays fall into the latter category, with tiered, pull-out shelving designed for corner cabinets.

The UTRUSTA retails for $170 and has a slim design, featuring a raised metal rail all the way around to contain whatever you're storing on the surface. It is only available in a dark gray color, although its hidden design should make this a non-issue for those contemplating the product. The shelves measure 35 ¼ inches wide by 17 ½ inches deep by 23 ⅞ inches high, with a shelf thickness of ½ inch. 

With a maximum load per shelf of 44 pounds, you should be able to fill each level with pots, pans, glass bakeware, and food storage containers; the pull-outs could similarly help manage foodstuffs if you keep those stored in deep corner cabinets. Users can also place kitchen appliances, such as blenders, toasters, and slow cookers, on the UTRUSTA. One customer review states that the pull-outs glide nicely and accommodate a corner cabinet, which isn't the right size or dimension for a lazy Susan, effectively eliminating wasted space.

With a price tag significantly lower than comparable options from brands like Rev-A-Shelf, IKEA's UTRUSTA could be a cost-effective addition to kitchens that sorely lack corner cabinet organization. If you're overwhelmed by inventory that you cannot part with (even after decluttering your kitchen), this product could give you the ability to contain items that were formerly stacked precariously or stored too far out of reach. However, there are some customer concerns to note.

For the 47-inch IKEA cabinets purchased in 2025 (which were discontinued after being sold to numerous customers), several customers complained that the pull-out shelving didn't fit properly, despite being told the UTRUSTA would be compatible. As a result, there are a number of reviews that sound like this one: "Purchased [these] for the corner cabinets we bought during the March 2025 kitchen sale, except they don't fit. If we want pull-outs now, we would have to redo our brand new kitchen." This concern, alongside improperly printed installation instructions, has left a significant number of customers disappointed, leading to a 3.8-star average rating at the time of writing.

Negative feedback aside, the UTRUSTA is a good way to secretly add more storage to your kitchen if your cabinets are compatible. The product description states that the trays will fit the SEKTION 50-inch by 26-inch corner base cabinet, so there is no guarantee they will fit other cabinets. However, IKEA accepts returns of opened products up to 180 days after purchase, provided you have your receipt; given the affordable price of these pull-outs, you might want to test them out, especially if you live by an IKEA location and don't have to deal with shipping or long commutes.
