Craft The Cutest Fall Décor Using Old Casserole Lids

Pumpkins and wreaths may be the usual stars of fall decorating, but some of the cutest seasonal crafts can start with the things you already have at home. It's easy to find delight in DIYs if you have a knack for turning everyday belongings into cute decorative pieces. Any old pot or casserole lid will do, and trust in your creative guts in turning round or rectangular covers into an autumnal scarecrow that can compete with a carved pumpkin's face card. Kidding aside, you'll need some fine sandpaper to buff your lid's surface before adding any embellishments. Along with that, get some spray paint; acrylic paint or markers; burlap in fall-themed colors like orange, red, and deep green; some jute or straw; glue; and a pair of scissors. And as far as pumpkin carving and wreath-making goes, try to invite a loved one or two for this DIY project — the more scarecrows you make, the more outstanding you'll be in the field.
