A traditional bird bath has one job: give birds somewhere to drink and splash. To this, the Cocobela bird bath also adds a solar light, and the option to use the basin as a feeder instead of a bath. You can currently purchase it at Walmart for $24.14, a discount of ~52% off its regular price of $49.99.
The freestanding bird bath measures 42 inches tall and features a 12-inch-wide bowl that is 2.36 inches deep. You can fill the bowl with water when you want to use it as a traditional bird bath or add birdseed and turn it into a feeder instead. The bowl is also removable. This makes emptying it easy, as well as cleaning it. As for the build, the Cocobela bath is made from metal with a double-layer anti-rust coating; the solar light that sits above the bowl is in the design of a vintage lamppost.
As of this writing, it has a 4.2/5 star average based on over 250 ratings; 67% of customers give the bird bath five stars while another 10% give it four. A total 15%, however, give it one or two stars. Of the positive reviews, many describe the bird bath as "cute" and say that it was easy to put together. As for the size, even five-star reviews mention it was smaller than they thought it would be. For example, one verified reviewer from September 2026 shared, "I didn't get any birds to come and I think because the size was so small with the lantern in it, but it shows beautifully."
Getting the most out of your Cocobela bird bath
Start with the placement. You can't just randomly stick the Cocobela bird bath anywhere in your garden or yard; you need to put it in a place that works for both the birds and its solar light. Ideally, the bird bath should be easy for birds to spot while still sitting reasonably close to shrubs or tree branches where they can quickly perch or take cover if they feel threatened or attacked. Just avoid placing it directly under branches. This won't only prevent leaves, twigs, and pollen from falling into the bird bath but for this bath/feeder, in particular, it also lets sunlight hit the solar panels to keep its light charged.
Other than that, ensure that you clean the solar panels on your Cocobela bird bath from time to time. Dust, debris, and bird droppings can accumulate on the panels. This can decrease the solar panel efficiency and reduce the run time of its light. Also, when placing the bird bath, make sure its base is firmly secured in the ground. Several buyers on Walmart pointed out that the bird bath does not anchor properly and it tips in the wind. So, don't forget to work on its base when placing it somewhere in your garden or yard. The manufacturer does describe it as being "lightweight."
As for the light, note that, according to some reviewers, it doesn't work like it should. A four-star review reported, "The only issue is the light comes on during the day and goes off in the dark," while another reviewer, who also gave the bird bath four stars, shared, "I really like it overall. The only downside is the light on top doesn't screw in. It just kinda sits and wobbles." So, securing the light might be something you'll need to address, too.
