Experience

The first fifth-generation U.C. Berkeley graduate, Cyndi started writing and editing professionally for a daily newspaper before composing lifestyle, gardening, and decorating features for regional magazines. Getting her online feet wet for SheKnows, she is a current contributor to FloridaTravelLife, Islands, and YachtingMagazine. She wrote the opening chapter to the 2021 book, "PTSD Unplugged."

Education

Walking in her family's footsteps to U.C. Berkeley, Cyndi studied writing and liberal arts. Spending time at the University of Surrey in Guildford, she took advantage of a marketing curriculum and Europe's fantastic train system.
