Olivia is an interior designer at Imhotep, a small design-build firm in Vermont specializing in commercial bar and restaurant spaces.

Olivia is also an avid gardener who spends time each day caring for her outdoor flowers and vegetables, as well as her collection of over 50 houseplants.

Experience

Originally from South Florida, Olivia moved to Vermont in 2014. She spent a year in Copenhagen, Denmark, studying art and architecture, and she shifted her academic focus towards design when she moved back to the U.S. Motivated to gain working experience in her field, she assisted in the exhibition design at both the Middlebury College Museum and the Henry Sheldon Museum of Vermont History. After graduating college in 2018, she remained in the state to work as an interior designer with Imhotep. Since then, Olivia has written several self-published blogs detailing her experiences and projects and now contributes her expertise to House Digest.

Education

Olivia has a bachelor's degree in architectural studies from Middlebury College, a small liberal arts school in central Vermont that emphasizes writing and encourages independent learning.
