Each year, thousands of consumers, media representatives, and business owners gather at IFA in Berlin to witness the latest innovations in the home and consumer tech space. These developments are as wide-ranging as can be — everything from the newest ideas in video game technology to fresh ways to enhance and encourage global communication — but at House Digest, we're more thrilled about the cutting-edge breakthroughs that can transform how we go about our day-to-day routines. Brands like Narwal, eufy, 3i, and others came into IFA 2025 with a lot of buzz, but sometimes you need to see the latest technology in action to fully acknowledge its potential for lasting change.

Every year during IFA, we like to recognize the game-changing brands and products that steal the show for a special honor: the aptly named House Digest IFA Innovation Award. These new products stood out amongst the crowd, showcasing fresh tech that could make the way we clean and enjoy our spaces much more convenient. Suffice it to say, many of the exhibitors at IFA 2025 impressed us this year, but these interesting and innovative products really stood out, earning them a House Digest IFA Innovation Award.

Narwal Flow

One issue with mopping is that, as you continue throughout your space, the water gets progressively dirtier. Your options are to switch out the water completely after each small section of flooring, or simply embrace the fact that at least a small amount of dirt and grime is going to be spread around your home. This issue is made even more prevalent with robotic floor cleaners — stopping every few minutes to swap out the water supply defeats the purpose of investing in an automated device.

Thankfully, there's a solution: the Narwal Flow, a product showcased by the brand at this year's IFA. This robotic floor cleaner has both mopping and vacuuming capabilities, making it an all-in-one solution for every flooring type in the home, but it really stood out at IFA due to its clever dual-water tank system that ensures that the mop used for cleaning is continuously refreshed as it moves throughout the space.

You can also rest assured that you'll get a truly deep clean every time thanks to the cleaner's powerful 22,000 Pa suction and adaptive mop head extension system. Each spot will be identified and cleaned — no missed corners or edges — and the device's advanced navigation will allow the Flow to move throughout the home while avoiding obstacles, identifying dirty areas, and navigating around furniture and décor.

3i Q10 Ultra

3i debuted at IFA 2025, demonstrating powerful advancements in robotic cleaning technology with the Q10 Ultra, which seeks to eliminate many of the common problems with robotic cleaners. Safe to say, it impressed. Featuring 20,000 Pa suction, side brushes that catch dirt and debris in corners, and a motor that ensures quiet function as it completes its cycle, the Q10 showcases many of the advancements that turned heads at past iterations of IFA. Where it really shines, however, is with its innovative navigation system and design, which proactively prevents common hang-ups while cleaning.

It's not uncommon to set your robot cleaner up only to have to routinely reset it as it runs into obstacles. While these pauses are typically brief, they take away from the autonomous experience — nobody wants to have to follow around their device as it cleans. The Q10 Ultra, on the other hand, has an advanced navigation system and utilizes AI technology to identify over 200 obstacles, allowing it to react to just about anything a hectic home environment can throw at it.

But what about the obstacles that can't be easily dodged? The Q10 Ultra can handle those, too. The device is smaller than many other models — a little over 3 inches tall and under a foot wide, to be exact — meaning it can fit behind and under many types of furniture that other cleaners can't. Combine this with the AirLift liftable wheel system, which allows it to easily cross obstacles up to 1.4 inches, and you have a cleaner that isn't thwarted by low couches, awkward corners, or thick rugs.

eufy Omni S2

Germs, pet dander, and dust can have a negative impact on health, so investing in a device that's able to provide a deep, thorough clean is a must. Luckily, there is no shortage of such products being showcased at IFA 2025, but eufy's Omni S2 definitely stands out from the pack due to its high-tech CleanMind AI System and absurd cleaning power.

This device features incredibly strong 30,000 Pa suction that can lift debris from even the deepest cracks and crevices, as well as innovative mopping technology built to provide the most thorough clean possible. Rather than simply recycling old water and relying on dirty roller heads, eufy's Omni S2 continuously self-cleans as it moves along and features an electrolyzed water sterilization system that adds an extra level of sanitation.

These cleaning features are impressive, but the device doesn't skimp on functionality, either — it includes an advanced navigation system that's able to map the home, identify different kinds of messes, and "see" obstacles that pop up in its path. With the help of its CleanMind AI System, the robot can then alter its path or cleaning habits to ensure the space is completely refreshed at the click of a button.

HIZERO H100 Handheld Hard Surface Cleaner

While hard surfaces are often easier to clean than stained upholstery or dirty carpets, it doesn't mean that revealing a shining countertop, window, or mirror is a walk in the park. Regular cleaners leave behind streaks, paper towels leave behind dust, and even the most thorough job leaves behind smudges. That's why we're so impressed by HIZERO Home Appliances Corporation's H100 Handheld Hard Surface Cleaner.

The brand demoed this convenient tool at IFA 2025, showcasing its fresh approach to tackling daily messes. The device only requires one hand to operate — simply fill up the tank with water, and you're ready to refresh surfaces all over the home. As you move the cleaner over hard materials like glass, porcelain, and quartz, the innovative multi-roller system will capture and absorb the dispensed water, leaving behind a clean and dry surface in one convenient pass. After the water is sucked back up, it's then recycled. The device self-cleans as you work, too, so there's no worry of spreading around dirt that's already been collected.

Because it's so small and lightweight, the H100 is perfect for getting into those awkward nooks and crannies that other cleaners can't. Even high areas are no match for its abilities — with the optional extension pole, you'll be able to reach tricky spots like high windows without having to pull out a ladder. This hard surface cleaner's one-handed operation, convenient size, and thorough cleaning ability make it an easy pick to take care of day-to-day maintenance.

TESSAN Voyager 205

Buying individual adapters every time you take a trip out of the country can get annoying, expensive, and wasteful. TESSAN's Voyager 205, however, is an all-in-one device that can give you power across the world. This adapter works in over 200 countries, completely eliminating the guesswork that can come with travel, but at IFA 2025, we saw that the benefits don't stop there.

The sheer number of locations where this adapter works makes it a solid investment for any world traveler off the bat, but it also comes with another major plus that can help to eliminate the need for additional adapters and cords: It can charge up to eight devices at once. The Voyager 205 has one AC slot, six USB-C slots, and one USB-A slot, giving you the ability to charge just about anything you need while you're on the go. You won't have to wait hours to get your battery percentage up, either — it has a massive 205W total output, making it the most powerful adapter on earth.

If the high output immediately sent a shock down your spine, worry not. The Voyager 205 also has a dual fuse system, over-temperature protection, short-circuit protection, and over-voltage protection, all wrapped in a flame-retardant shell. It will even charge devices intelligently, delivering optimal power to each item you have plugged in for a safe, convenient, and stress-free experience. With TESSAN's innovative Voyager 205, you'll never have to worry about staying connected while on the go.

WYBOT S3

Keeping a pool clean is notoriously difficult and laborious, but WYBOT's newest cleaner, the S3, will handle the dirty work itself. Demonstrations at IFA 2025 revealed that this innovative product is more than just a simple automatic cleaner — it's a robotic helper designed to keep your favorite spot to soak crystal clean without you having to lift a finger.

The S3 is equipped with all sorts of tech that makes it a convenient and self-sufficient cleaning machine. One of the biggest pluses, however, is that the device self-cleans and docks after every pass through the pool. With many other robotic pool cleaners, it's still necessary to empty the collection bin after each cycle, but the S3's dock-based bin only needs emptying about once a month. It also comes with the option to utilize solar power, meaning the device can operate completely independent of your home, resulting in a lower electricity bill and no dealing with annoying outdoor power cords.

But what about the actual cleaning process? WYBOT's device offers innovation in this aspect, as well. Thanks to its 3D mapping system and AI-driven vision, the S3 can "see" exactly where it is in the pool and what areas are dirty, allowing it to focus its efforts where it's actually needed. The end result is a fresh, clean pool after every cycle — all without any effort on the user's behalf.

ANTHBOT Genie

Autonomous devices don't have to just be for your indoor cleaning routine — they can come in handy when it comes to outdoor maintenance, too. Mowing the lawn is one of the most laborious chores out there, but it's also important. Thankfully, there's a product designed for those who want a lush, green yard without having to invest their time and energy. The ANTHBOT Genie is an auto-mowing robot that can completely eliminate this chore, but it's ease of use and innovative functionality really made it stand out on the floor at IFA.

The Genie works in a similar way to a robot vacuum — it plots a course around your outdoor space and cuts the grass autonomously, allowing for hands-free trims. With that said, yards are often bumpier and contain more obstacles than interior flooring; this robot was designed with these challenges in mind. It can go up slopes as steep as 24 degrees, ride down bumpy or gravel paths with no issue, and has four advanced AI-enabled cameras that allow it to effectively dodge obstacles in its path. Whether your pets are outside playing or the kids left toys all over the lawn, you can rest assured that the Genie won't cause any damage.

After a simple setup, all you have to do is click a button on your phone for fresh-cut grass. The device auto-maps the space and plots a course on its own — you can even set up a schedule so it runs without any involvement at all. After its cycle, it returns back to its dock, charging itself up so it's ready to go the next time the lawn needs a trim.
