Which HGTV Series Is The Real Fan Favorite? - Exclusive Survey

Nothing gives us more interior design inspiration than plopping down on the couch and watching a renovation show. The average homeowner isn't an interior design expert, so being able to watch people encourage them to think outside-the-box, and create unique spaces is quite special. However, there are countless shows to choose from, so we conducted a survey asking participants which HGTV series is their favorite. HGTV provides numerous shows performed by different hosts for their viewers, but we focused on some of the top contenders.

Our list of HGTV series included "House Hunters," "Fixer Upper," "Property Brothers," "Good Bones," "Flip or Flop," and "Love it or List it." These television series have all garnered major attention over the past couple of years, but some shows have utilized that attention better than others. We had 627 respondents decide which show is the real fan favorite, and we'll explain why that may be.

The power couple

Out of 627 respondents, 23.92% (150 people) voted for "Fixer Upper" as their favorite HGTV series, according to our survey. Unless you live under a rock, you've probably heard of the famous married duo Chip and Joanna Gaines. If you don't already know, "Fixer Upper" is an HGTV series that followed the Gaines as they renovated homes, creating beautiful designs homeowners fell in love with. Showbiz CheatSheet says "Fixer Upper" is historically one of HGTV's most popular shows.

After their successful debut on HGTV, the Gaines later were able to create Magnolia Network, which features several other home renovators, per their website. Since fans have taken a liking to Joanna Gaines style, they have also been able to sell their own home décor. Their online store offers everything from wall decor to rugs, furniture, and kitchen accessories. The Gaines have shown their fans how they've utilized their popularity to create several successful networks of wealth.

Hunting down the best home
