While Target locations across the nation will be closed on Christmas Day, most are open until 8 p.m. on Christmas Eve, so you've still got plenty of time to shop. However, hours vary by store (per Target), so be sure to check your local store's hours before hopping in your car. Target recently announced their holiday sales, which extend from now until Christmas Eve. On December 16 and 17, purchase clothing or accessories for 30% off. From now until December 17, you can get 30% off shoes, matching pajamas, Christmas decorations, and trees. And you can receive up to 40% off small kitchen appliances until December 17.
From December 18 until Christmas Eve, expect to get up to 50% off toys, small kitchen appliances, Christmas decorations and trees, and home security systems, while select video games could be up to 60% off. In addition, select women's sweaters, pet accessories, and men's seasonal clothes will be 40% off, while All In Motion fleeces will be 30% off, and you can buy one and get one 25% off on beauty gift sets.
Beginning the day after Christmas, The Krazy Coupon Lady says that holiday items will be 30% to 60% off and could rise to 70% off on December 28 and even higher after that. Second, they also offer drive-up services where an employee will put the items directly in your car, but you must order before 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve. Finally, if you prefer the items to be delivered, place your order before 4 p.m. the day before Christmas and use Shipt, which could have the items at your door in just one to two hours. If you're a Shipt member, this service is free, but if you're not, it's $9.99. Also, when using this option, you'll need to buy at least $35 worth of merchandise.
To save additional money, Target's reward program, Target Circle, gives you 1% back on every purchase. You should also keep your eye out for special deals, which can be found on the website or the app. Finally, Hip2Save says to use Target's holiday price match guarantee, which means you can price match any item at Target or an approved competitor up until Christmas Eve as long as you have your receipt.
