The Basia floor lamp, for example, retails for only $99.99, which is less than half the cost of the Nash model.

This Nash floor lamp also isn't very highly rated. While its 3.9 stars based on 29 reviews isn't horrendous, it also isn't impressive enough to drop the extra money to purchase it. Here is what one underwhelmed customer wrote, "I wanted to like this lamp, but it was too bright at night to use when guests were over. As a reading lamp, used when alone, it would have been fine, But as far as adding ambiance to my living room, it was a definite no."
