Finally, think about the color you would like for your beauty item storage rack. It may be a good idea to match it to your makeup vanity or dresser. Purchase a can of spray paint like this Rust-Oleum Metallic Spray Paint in gold, or whatever color choice you prefer for your display.

For this hack, you want to tie the zip ties tight around the paper towel holder across both sides, clipping the excess. Make sure you leave enough room in between the zip ties to hold each tube of lipstick, mascara, makeup brush, lip gloss, primer, and so on. There should be some wiggle room to insert products. Next, take your towel holder outside or to a well-ventilated area so you don't breathe in any of the fumes from the spray paint. Take your can and spray the towel holder and zip ties, and allow everything to dry completely.
