3 New Harbor Freight Products Coming Out In 2026 Homeowners Might Want To Know About

If you agree that Harbor Freight tools can be game changers for home improvement projects because the products are so affordable – and even offer good performance for the money – you may enjoy keeping up to date on the store's latest product releases. Harbor Freight recently unveiled many of its newest products at the 2025 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show. Out of the dozens of products introduced, the three that we think you should know about are mini toolboxes, a heavy-duty winch, and professional-level ratchets.

The mini toolboxes are more of an update to an already popular product. The highly-rated Harbor Freight mini toolbox from U.S. General will remain available in 2026, but it will have some new color options. Harbor Freight has been offering these toolboxes for $19 in colors including black, blue, and red. In 2026, though, the U.S. General toolboxes will add three additional colors, including purple, slate gray, and green. Harbor Freight's website lists these new colors as being in stock for the holiday season in 2025, too.

Customers love the 6-by-6-by-11-inch toolboxes, giving them an average 4.9-star rating on the Harbor Freight website. Each toolbox can hold tools and other small items in two drawers that can support up to 5 pounds apiece. Some people even use the cute design to store office supplies. The lid on the top compartment can open at a greater than 90-degree angle to make it easier to access small items stored inside. The colors should continue to look great well into the future, as they have a powder-coated gloss finish for wear-resistance.

ICON-branded professional-level G2 ratchets are new for 2026

One of the hand tool brands Harbor Freight carries for professional performance is ICON. At the SEMA Show, Harbor Freight introduced 20 new ICON-branded G2 ratchets to expand its product lineup. These tools include several sizes of stubby, flex-head, comfort-grip, and fixed-head ratchets. These ratchets have a lifetime guarantee, and they offer a fully sealed head that's designed to protect it from debris and other contaminants. ICON designs and engineers its tools in the United States, and they're only available at Harbor Freight.

Although you can currently buy some long and extra-long G2 ratchets in sizes of 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2-inch at Harbor Freight (all with excellent reviews and ratings), the new lineup of ratchets will not be available for purchase until spring 2026. Harbor Freight did not announce the expected price for these new ratchets, but its current ICON G2 ratchets have a price range from $45 to $120 apiece. This is a popular line of products from Harbor Freight, as some of its ICON tools have near-perfect reviews.

Harbor Freight's new winch is made for tough conditions

When you need a winch that can handle heavy loads, you probably want a model that can support at least 15,000 pounds. Harbor Freight announced the Badland ZXR 15,000-Pound Winch during the SEMA Show, which includes a 90-foot, 7/16-inch diameter wire rope. A 15,000-pound winch could handle projects like pulling trailers and vehicles out of a ditch, moving large fallen trees, or extracting a truck out of the mud. Harbor Freight says its new winch will be able to pull SUVs and heavy-duty trucks.

It has a 10-by-4.5-inch mounting platform with three potential mounting positions to gain the leverage you need for any kind of job. It is an IP67-rated tool, allowing you to use it even in difficult weather conditions. The wire rope can stand up to tough conditions, too, as it uses a corrosion-resistant aircraft-grade steel. The design allows you to add a wireless remote to gain more versatility in how you use the winch.

The new Badland ZXR winch will not be available until summer 2026. Currently, Harbor Freight's largest Badland ZXR winch has a 12,000-pound capacity and costs $350. This model has over 550 five-star reviews, so you would expect the new release to be equally as durable and highly rated once it becomes available, even though Harbor Freight has not announced the expected price for the 15,000-pound winch yet.
