Calvin Harris's $25 Million Mansion Is On The Market

The music industry can certainly be lucrative if you're penning major hits, as singer, songwriter, and producer Calvin Harris likely knows quite well — the Scottish-born DJ is putting his California mansion on the market for $25 million, as the New York Post reported.

For that staggering price tag, though, any buyer will get a serious amount of space, both inside the home and in terms of the land the property is on. As per The Altman Brothers Team, the Beverly Hills complex is over 117,000 square feet in total, located on 2.7 acres of land. The complex includes four structures in addition to the main residence — a five-car garage for storing all your luxury vehicles, a security office guest unit, a separate home gym that rivals a commercial gym, as well as a two-story guest home that has been split into two separate recording studios.

While the current complex seems to have been designed to fit Harris's unique needs as a celebrity and musician, with recording studios and added privacy measures, the structures could be transformed to suit whatever a potential buyer's needs may be. Though serious revamping may change these numbers, currently, the complex contains 12 bathrooms and 10 bedrooms.

A slice of California paradise

The Beverly Hills complex is impressive from the moment you first drive up — a solid gate offers added security, ensuring no one gets a peek inside, according to The Altman Brothers Team. Then, you're led along a curved, elongated driveway as you glimpse all the gorgeous structures with white facades and porches and balconies galore overlooking the property. Lush greenery throughout the property adds natural beauty and privacy, with trees interspersed with tall, dense, coiffed hedges around the pool, basketball court, and other outdoor features.

Given that California is warm so much of the year, outdoor space can come in handy for entertaining — and Harris's property certainly offers that. The massive swimming pool is flanked by plenty of deck space to set up patio chairs for poolside lounging, and the hedges surrounding it give it a peaceful atmosphere. There is also a custom pergola with a BBQ and bar area, as well as a lounge with a fire pit, so the needs of any guest can be met.

Additionally, anyone who is athletically inclined can enjoy shooting some hoops on the basketball court or popping into the separate home gym with high ceilings and wooden beam details — and of course, large windows throughout so you can enjoy the view while you're sweating. And, those with a green thumb will be thrilled to see plenty of garden beds, ready for planting whatever their heart desires. As if all that weren't enough, there's also a solar dome.

A marvelous master suite

The master suite is one of the key components of any home — the homeowner's private oasis and retreat after a long day. And, as a photo from The Altman Brothers Team highlights, the master suite in Harris's Beverly Hills property is absolutely gorgeous.

The room has vaulted ceilings with wooden beams, all painted white, giving it a cozy feel while still remaining open and airy, with herringbone flooring adding a sophisticated touch. Though the home has central air conditioning and heating, allowing the homeowner to adjust to any season, the master suite has a stunning fireplace perfect for curling up nearby, as the chaise lounge positioned to one side exemplifies. There's also an ensuite with dual baths and walk-in closets, perfect for homeowners who prefer their own space to get ready in the morning and organize their red-carpet-ready looks. If you don't want to ruin the ambiance of the fireplace by mounting a television above it for binge-watching in bed, don't worry — the home also has a gorgeous movie theater that is the ideal location for watching any of your favorite flicks.

Finally, one of the most eye-catching elements of the master suite is the numerous French doors with large glass panels. The doors open out onto the backyard, allowing the homeowner to wake up and immediately get a glimpse of their serene outdoor space.

A jaw-dropping interior

While the master suite of Harris's property is a dream for the homeowner, the rest of the interior space will likely thrill any guest visiting. As The Altman Brothers Team highlights in listing photos, the space is incredibly open, with floor-to-ceiling windows stretching along the interior, filling the space with natural light.

The kitchen has a rustic tile flooring and two large islands, as well as top-of-the-line appliances. An eating nook and window seat offer plenty of seating options for guests who are gathering in the kitchen, and any oenophile will find themselves drooling over the custom wine cellar with modern black trimmed glass panels to showcase their collection. There's also a fully stocked bar in one of the living areas, a fireplace, as well as built-in shelving and eye-catching architectural details throughout, such as square columns and coffered ceilings.

Brick wall accents throughout the space add a cozy feel, and the chestnut herringbone flooring found in the master suite is carried through many of the other interior spaces. Another key detail is the stunning stone staircase with an ornate railing and multi-story brass pendant light.

As for Harris himself, as Dirt reported, he'll be trading in Beverly Hills life for a 138-acre ranch in Ibiza.
