Here's How Much Bon Jovi's NYC Condo Just Sold For

Though musician Jon Bon Jovi is often associated with New Jersey, the star actually has his home base set up in New York City. He recently sold his condo, however, allowing fans to get a glimpse into the luxurious space he called his own for a few years.

As the New York Post reports, Bon Jovi purchased his recently-sold condo back in 2017 for $18.94 million. Five years later, he managed to sell it for $22 million, getting his asking price and making a few million dollars worth of profit on the property as a little bonus. It's something Bon Jovi is likely thankful for, given that his last New York property, a duplex located in the West Village that he did some serious renovations to, sold at a loss (via Page Six).

Even with the price tag of $22 million, Bon Jovi's condo was only on the market for six days — it seems the buyer fell head over heels after seeing the gorgeous space. Obviously with New York real estate, you have to pay a premium for square footage, so for that price tag you'll get 3,951 square feet with four bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms — not huge in comparison to some celebrities' California mega-mansions, but seriously spacious by New York standards.

About the building

When you're considering purchasing a condo, it's not just the unit itself that matters — you also have to consider the building. After all, even the condo of your wildest dreams can turn into a nightmare if there's a tough condo board, issues with the amenities, major repairs that need to be made, etc. The unit Jon Bon Jovi sold was on the 14th floor of a 17-story building, The Greenwich Village, as per Compass — not quite the penthouse, but high up enough that the views are incredible.

The building was constructed in 2013, and is located between the West Village and Greenwich Village, making it the perfect spot for a buyer who loves the atmosphere of those particular neighborhoods. And, any resident can expect amenities galore. First of all, for safety and convenience, The Greenwich Village has 24-hour concierge and maintenance services, so there's always someone available to accept your packages or fix your appliances when they go awry.

There's also a fitness center, 75-foot swimming pool, steam rooms, golf simulator, and a 21-seat screening room for catching the new releases everyone's buzzing about. Additionally, even though it's planted in the hustle and bustle of New York, there's a garden and reflecting pool so residents can get a slice of nature without having to head over to Central Park.

The stunning interior of Jon Bon Jovi's New York condo

The luxury of this New York condo begins the minute you enter, with the elevator opening into a private vestibule entry. There are floor-to-ceiling windows throughout the unit, allowing the space to be filled with light and treating the resident to breathtaking views of the New York skyline. Additionally, because the unit is a corner unit with a particular floor plan, it receives three exposures of light, as Compass reports. This means that you'll get natural sunlight throughout the day, not just during a certain time frame. The views are also protected, meaning that no skyscraper will be going up to block the skyline you paid so much to see every morning. There are also Juliette balconies to enjoy the view.

Though one of the main selling points of the condo is the gorgeous views and massive windows, there's plenty to love about the interior as well. The 40-foot living room is incredibly open and spacious, and blends into an eat-in kitchen with direct access to a balcony for enjoying your breakfast al fresco.

The chef's kitchen features top-of-the-line appliances, custom walnut-paneled cabinetry, and gray marble countertops and backsplashes for a space that's sleek, modern, and streamlined. While the huge living room is the primary space in the condo, there is also a laundry room and three bathrooms in addition to the master suite, so any guests can visit and enjoy the high life in New York.

The incredible master suite in Jon Bon Jovi's New York condo

While space to entertain is important for many homeowners, there's something really special about a property's master suite — it's the homeowner's private oasis, the room they can transform so they feel amazing every morning when they wake up and every night when they lay down to rest after a long day.

Provided you leave your curtains open, you don't even have to roll out of bed to enjoy the breathtaking views from the master bedroom — there are floor-to-ceiling windows with both south and east exposures that make the space feel enormous, per Compass. A chaise lounge positioned near one of the windows demonstrates what a perfect spot it is for lounging.

And, the bedroom isn't the only component of the master suite — there's also a gorgeous bathroom done in white and gray marble for a luxurious feel, with some metallic accents. A glass-enclosed shower is located at one end of the bathroom, and a free-standing modern bathtub is placed near the windows so that even your bubble bath comes with a view. The floors are heated as well, perfect for chilly New York mornings. Finally, a must for any New York fashionista, is the walk-in closet decked out with plenty of white drawers and shelving for a chic blank canvas that you can fill with your favorite pieces.
