Inside The Home Newly Signed Giants Joc Pederson Sold For $4.1 Million

It looks like Joc Pederson is on the move in more ways than one. The 2-time World Series Champion outfielder just inked a one-year deal with the San Francisco Giants worth a reported $6 million, according to the MLB. He didn't waste any time adjusting to the news as he has already sold his Studio City, California, home for a whopping $4.1 million, which will net him a nice sum as he originally bought the property back in 2018 for $3.25 million, per Realtor.com.

Pederson spent the majority of his baseball career playing for the Los Angeles Dodgers, where he won his first World Series. Then in the 2021 season, he split his time with the Chicago Cubs until ultimately landing a spot with the Atlanta Braves, where they claimed their first World Series in 26 years. Now that he is returning to the west coast, this means that he will be moving back to his roots in his hometown in the Bay Area. Although there hasn't been any confirmation of what his new digs in San Francisco might be, let's at least take a look at the Los Angeles home Pederson recently sold for a hefty amount.

A look outside of Pederson's newly sold LA home

Joc Pederson may be pretty happy that he is moving back to his old stomping grounds in San Francisco, but it has to be hard letting go of such a beautiful home. His recently sold house on Acama Street is located in Studio City, California, and sits on just under 8,000 square feet of property. According to the listing on Realtor.com, the single-family home has a 2-car attached garage and was built not long ago in 2016. The outside of the house has a humble yet classy wood finish siding with big picturesque windows.

A look in the backyard reveals an ideal space for entertaining. The outdoor swimming pool has a wonderful waterfall feature and is designed in a dark material that balances well with the surrounding greenery that hangs off of the high walls. There is plenty of room to host BBQ get-togethers on the spacious back deck, with a hot tub that sits right beside an outdoor bar area with surround sound speakers. Now let's take a step inside to see all the features of this stunner of a home.

Gorgeous living areas with classy design

When you walk in from the backyard area through the large sliding glass doors, you are taken right into the dining room/living room area of the home, which boasts a living space of 5,183 square feet, according to Zillow. The living room's focal point features a breathtaking fireplace that is made with black painted bricks, which are highlighted by the natural wood mantle and surrounding matching shelves that are perfect for displaying your home decor.

The kitchen area has designer countertops with a breakfast bar that gets extra light from an overhead modern light fixture. Under one of the big kitchen windows is a super lush and long bench that is awash in natural light and would make morning coffee time an absolute dream. As you stroll towards the front door, you are met with the dining room that flows seamlessly into a front living space. The family room has a large fireplace set right near the front entrance that you could easily picture yourself sitting back with your feet up, enjoying the cozy atmosphere.

Upstairs bedrooms feature plenty of light

There is no lack of sleeping quarters in this tastefully designed home which has a total of six bedrooms and seven bathrooms. To reach the top floor, you take the slowly curving staircase that is made of lightly stained wood with a matching banister that is structured with black metal railings.

At the top of the landing on the second floor is a delightful little seating area that has a flat-screen television on the wall and simple seating. Finished wood flooring runs throughout the top floor and into the well-decorated bedrooms. Each bedroom feels welcoming and warm and has a vibe that Joc Pederson explains as a "modern farmhouse" in the Living Spaces: Home Tour video, which follows him around the Los Angeles residence. Light pours into each bedroom effortlessly through the twin windows, allowing the California sun to radiate the light-colored furnishings. As Pederson gets ready for the next chapter in his career and home life, it's comforting to hope that there is someone out there that will take pride in this lovely property.
