If you had to think of two things that make a room look cluttered, laundry hampers and lack of storage would probably be on the list. The first one can be tucked away in a corner, but it still is an eyesore. Plus, anyone walking by can see the dirty clothes that are piling up. This GIKPAL freestanding laundry organizer is currently sold at Walmart for $81.70. It has three separate shelves that you can use for storage, and in the bottom section, there are two removable laundry hampers. You can pull them out to dump dirty laundry into them, and push them back in place to hide the whole thing and make it look like a regular cabinet. While this can help you hide your laundry hamper, it's not small. Together, the two baskets can hold 170 liters of laundry, enough for two to three loads. Both containers are washable as well — this is a huge plus, as it can sometimes be a challenge to keep your laundry hamper smelling fresh.

And one small detail worthy of note: there are small hooks you can use on the sides of the shelving unit to hang more items. All in all, this is a fairly large unit, requiring about 33 by 12 inches of floor space. It's relatively tall, too, with 57 inches in height (or about 4.5 feet). 

If you're using this unit to organize your laundry room, store laundry supplies on the upper shelves and bulky things, like a steamer or iron, on the lower shelf. Or, keep it empty and use it as a folding station for laundry. The side hooks can be used to hold a lost sock bag, mesh bags for delicate items, or a stain removing brush. 

While this unit is a great way to bring order to your chaotic laundry room, its sleek and aesthetically pleasing design can be enjoyed in other areas of your home too. For example, place it in the bedroom, where the shelves can be used to hold a record player, a lamp, some candles, or books. Another option is to turn the unit into a vanity, with a mirror hanging on the wall behind the second shelf. Then, use the shelves to store your makeup and hair products. You can also hang necklaces or other accessories on the side hooks. Another option is to place this in the bathroom. There, use the shelves to store toilet paper, folded towels, and beauty supplies. 

In all of those cases, use the laundry hampers as intended. Pull them out and throw your dirty clothes in there before going to bed or jumping in the shower. You can use the two hampers to split laundry by color, shade, or material.
