The Most Unique Part About Christina Haack's Kitchen In Her New Mansion

It's no secret that HGTV has made a star out of Christina Haack, and there is no question about her popularity either. We love watching her and her ex-husband, Tarek El Moussa, on their highly successful show "Flip or Flop," as well as seeing her solo on "Christina on the Coast." We also can't get enough of watching as Haack expands her growing empire with the launch of The Christina Collection, a line of durable vinyl flooring that will feature 21 different styles, according to Floor Covering News.

But, it's Haack's recent real estate transaction that really has us intrigued. According to Realtor.com, Haack has purchased a pricey new pad in Orange County for $10.3 million after unloading her previous $5.35 million Newport Beach mansion that she shared with ex-husband Ant Anstead. Keep scrolling to find out what the most unique part of Haack's new kitchen is ... we bet you can't guess!

Before we look at the kitchen, let's take in the mansion and all its glory. Per Dirt, the sprawling home boasts a whopping 6,084 square feet with five bedrooms and six and a half bathrooms; it also has all of the luxurious touches that one would want, and then some. TMZ notes the stunning views of the beach, a pool, a movie theater, and a game room, which we suspect the kids spend an ample amount of time in.

Now to that chef's kitchen ... after scrolling through the recent pics of Haack's new home, we couldn't help but pause and notice that her new kitchen has not one but two center kitchen islands, which must come in handy when cooking family meals and hanging out! It's a new, hot trend, as kitchen designer Tom Howley explains to Homes & Gardens. "Kitchen islands are a perennial favorite but are even more in demand as we want to use more and more of our kitchens as workspaces, classrooms, and food preparation areas. We are now taking it to the next level and expanding our kitchen island space by doubling up as the extra counter space takes multifunctional living to a new dimension."

Besides the double kitchen island, Haack's kitchen has some other incredibly luxurious features, such as granite countertops, a butler's pantry, and a breakfast nook with gorgeous cathedral ceilings, per the New York Post.
