Over the course of Taylor's professional career, she's written about a variety of home improvement topics for a number of publications, including Angi and CNET. Her passion for journalism began in high school, where she was the editor-in-chief of her newspaper for two years. In college at the University of Southern California, Taylor studied journalism and served as the associate news editor of Neon Tommy, an online publication sponsored by USC's Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. As a writer for House Digest, Taylor enjoys covering all of the most important elements of a home, from landscaping and lawncare to sturdy flooring and reliable roofing.

Taylor has a bachelor's degree in print and digital journalism from the University of Southern California.
