Starting with ghostwriting in 2019, Carol creates informative content in the home maintenance and decor space. Since 2020, websites including Bob Vila, Interesting Things, and Popular Science have published articles and buyers' guides under Carol's byline. After completing an academic career as a college professor, Carol is delighted to share her enthusiasm for all things home-oriented by creating helpful and well-researched content for readers. Additionally, she publishes Scribbling Boomer, a blog for her fellow Baby Boomers (especially women over 60).


With a Bachelor of Music Education (B. M. Ed.), Master of Music (M. M.), and Doctor of Musical Arts (D. M. A.), Carol completed a long career as a music educator and college professor. In 2014, she published an academic book, "Thinking about Thinking: Metacognition for Music Teaching and Learning." Now enjoying retirement, she turns her passion for research and writing toward content creation.
