Experience

At 28, Sonia became the youngest editor of a lifestyle publication in Western Africa when she began working with Genevieve Magazine, Nigeria. 20 years since she first put pen to paper, Sonia has continued to build an impressively wide-ranging portfolio, from her essays on mental health and wellness to interviews with award-winning actors such as Daniel Kaluuya, John Boyega, and Letitia Wright. Sonia is also an actor, filmmaker, and producer whose works in front of and behind the scenes have been featured in cinemas and streaming services, including Netflix and Amazon. She credits her collaborations with award-winning set designers and art directors as another reason for her love of interior design. She joined Static in 2022 and has been sharing her best tips and hacks with House Digest ever since.

Education

Sonia graduated from the University of Leicester with a Media, Communications, and Sociology degree.
