- McKenna assisted with the home staging of the Megan Aitken Team's first million dollar listing. The price point is not very common in the small towns of Delaware and showcases how effective home staging can be in the real estate industry. Along with her professional writing experience, McKenna has an interest in social media marketing and previously worked with Pura Vida Bracelets as a Brand Ambassador.
Experience
McKenna has been writing professionally for nearly six years and has worked with a number of media companies and brands. She has also worked as a home stager for the Megan Aitken Team, one of the top real estate teams in Delaware and the top team in the M.O.T area. During her time with the company, she also assisted with the development and distribution of their monthly newsletter while serving as the lead writer. McKenna will be bringing not only writing experience to the House Digest team, but will be also be utilizing her arts background and her passion for creative expression.
Education
McKenna received her bachelor's degree in English from Old Dominion University, one of multiple colleges nestled in the coastal city of Norfolk, Virginia. While her formal education there focused on Creative Writing with a specialization in Fiction, McKenna is well versed in Non-Fiction and Digital Writing. Since graduating in 2019, she has worked for Glitter Magazine as an Entertainment and Lifestyle Writing/Editing Intern and Screen Rant as a Social Media Influencer Reporter.
